All about the centre
The Newport Cottage Care Centre is based in Newport Shropshire.
The Care Centre is supported in a number of ways e.g. through holding many fund raising events, the Newport League of Friends and its very active lottery promotion and in the past by the Community Fund.
Caring for elderly people is the main objective of the Centre , the aim of which has always been to provide a caring environment for the clients who come to us through a variety of ways i.e. through social services, local doctors and district nurses and word of mouth. There are opportunities for our clients to take part in a wide variety of activities or just sit and have a chat – often much better than sitting at home on their own.
Clients can be collected and brought to the Centre in one of our two mini buses which have been adapted to cater for disabled and wheelchair users.
