Birthdays, Christmas and Easter are all celebrated within the centre as well as regular afternoon tea and parties.

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am-4pm we offer specialised day care for people living with dementia or a memory impairment.  Our qualified care team are experienced in providing coping mechanisms for both clients and family who need support.

Our Midas trained drivers pick up and drop off clients from home within a 5 mile radius.  Outside of this 5 mile radius, clients can still access our services if they can provide their own transport.

We have a specially equipped bathroom with a hoist facility.  The elderly population can access this service even if they do not attend as a day client.

Our qualified catering staff provide 3 course meals catering for any special dietary requirements.  They maintain the high standards required by the local authority who have awarded us a 5 star rating.

The care centre has lovely tranquil gardens which are utilised by our clients.  We have three raised beds where clients can grow vegetables, herbs and many plants.  There is a large lawn and patio area to enjoy the summer afternoons.

Clients can book into our on-site hair salon for a spot of pampering with our resident hairdresser (separate charge applies).

For further information on the services we offer contact: Kerry Nolan, Centre Manager or Vicki Wilcox, Senior Carer, on 01952 820893.

When not in use, our large lounge and dining area is available for hire for private functions such as birthday and anniversary celebrations.  The income generated from this use is put to the day-to-day running costs of the Centre.

As well as the Day Care service, the Centre is used in the evening and at weekends by local community groups such as Female 77, The Saturday Club, The Flower Club and Oddfellows.

Rooms are also utilised within the Centre for CRUSE, Relate and Healthy Lifestyles as well as National Health Services such as audiology, x-ray, physio, sexual health, district nurses and health visitors.  We also house the Newport Royal Voluntary Service helpline.

For further enquiries about room bookings contact: Kerry Nolan, Centre Manager or Celia Spencer, Administrator on 01952 820893.
